"The Allegretto groove features a prominent kick drum, futuristic synths, & an eerie, yet salacious bass line. Layers of vocal harmonies, reminiscent of a church choir, lend themselves to an ambient connection to the song’s emotional theme. St. James recalls his upbringing in the inner city of Chicago, being shielded from a life in the streets and a plead to God to continue to guide and keep him on the right paths in life.
